About Marie's Massage Therapy

My name is Marie and I provide a mobile massage therapy service in Dartford and the surrounding area.

Hard working, ethical, honest, reliable, kind, caring and considerate are some of my personal attributes.

I started as a Physiotherapy Assistant in the Outpatients department in an NHS hospital back in 2011. I worked there for 10 years gaining invaluable experience in Physiotherapy Assistant skills and knowledge. Completing various training sessions in-house on different areas of physiotherapy to help me treat my patients with confidence and understanding.

My qualifications include:

NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care 2011

Holistic Massage VTCT Level 3 in Body Massage 2012

Advanced and Deep Tissue Massage - Gateway workshops practitioners diploma 2012

Level 3 Diploma in Anatomy and Physiology 2016

Myofascial Release Techniques - Gateway workshops practitioners diploma 2018

Pilates Diploma - Distinction 2022

My sessions are 45 minutes each, but I am happy to do longer or shorter sessions as required. I generally combine Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage techniques in my sessions depending upon my clients' needs and tolerance. I'm able to give advice on exercises, stretches and strengthening and happy to incorporate them into the session or as an add on.

I'm always searching for extra training to aid my knowledge and experience and will happily research anything that any of my clients may need.

All Covid 19 precautions followed. I test using LFT on a daily basis and I am fully vaccinated.

I am also insured by Holistic Gold as a Holistic/ Complimentary Therapist.
